Animals & Art

Come out to the animal sanctuary to learn the art of photography and painting in a peaceful environment. Capture the quirky personalities of these rescues with your camera or use the beautiful grounds and buildings as your subject. Either way, our talented and patient instructors will provide all of the essentials you need to unlock your artistic potential.

Location

The weekend will take place at Burleigh Manor Animal Sanctuary in Ellicott City, MD.  Learn more about Burleigh Manor and the residents here.

Rocky's Retreats

Many of the animals' stories are inspiring accounts of compassionate people and resilient animals. Read about Mac, a Nubian goat, and Cash, the Amish working mule, both on death's door when rescued but thriving today. For less dramatic tales, check out the donkeys Jenny and Jack.

If you are coming from outside of the area, accommodation is not included but discount codes for a local inn and a hotel will be provided after you register.
